Key West is such a cool town, and it really came to life this past weekend with Diana and Yanel’s engagement session. It couldn’t have been more appropriate since they are planning a fabulous wedding at Little Palm Island in the Florida Keys. This engagement session had a total island feel!

Being a Christian is like being a pumpkin.

God lifts you up,
takes you in,
and washes all the dirt off of you.

He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all the yucky stuff– including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see.

This was passed on to me from another pumpkin. I just sent it to all the pumpkins in my patch…now it’s your turn….

Tuesday, be Informed!

I have been looking forward to this engagement session for months and it turned out amazing! I am always scouting new locations and living in South Florida the opportunities are endless. Earlier this year when I first met with Jenny and David we discussed shooting their engagement session at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Wow, I nearly fell off my chair! We put the wheels in motion and scheduled the session. As it turns out the weather was amazing, the park was a blast and Jenny & David were uber-cool! All the perfect ingredients to make this a photographers dream shoot.

I was so stoked about this shoot and looking forward to their wedding next year. I am turning these teasers around in record time!

I had an absolute blast photographing Adriana for her fifteenth birthday. These teen portrait sessions are awesome, they provide a great memento of these precious years. I am working on some new blog posts over the next couple of days, in the meantime I leave you with these quick teasers from this killer portrait shoot.

I had the pleasure of recently photographing Victoria Isabella. She is a complete doll and totally daddy’s little girl. At just 1 month old she was already modeling for some shots!

This past weekend I photographed Natasha for her 15th birthday pictures. We had a great time and captured some amazing images. While wedding photography is my passion its always great shooting these fashion inspired teen portraits.

This past week I photographed baby Gianna for her 5 month pictures. I first photographed her when she was about a week old and it’s amazing to see how fast they grow. I really enjoy baby portraits, it provides me with the opportunity to see how they change from month to month. These baby portrait sessions are the perfect opportunity for parents to document the early days and create an heirloom for generations.

This is my favorite from the session.

Evelyn and Larry spent months planning the perfect wedding and boy did it pay off! Every detail was attended to. We started the day at the famed Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach, followed by an intimate ceremony at St. Patrick Church along with a reception at the Ancient Spanish Monastery.

I had a spectacular afternoon walking the beaches of Miami with Carla and Olivier. Following an intimate wedding this lovely couple and I planned an amazing day after session. Carla mixed her sizzling Brazilian pizazz with Olivier’s Belgium flare to deliver one memorable session.
